Meet the Guinea Pig! Thighs, Bi’s & Tries!

As you can see I’m actually a human, not a guinea pig, I know that may disappoint a lot of you, but hear me out! I started this blog for many reasons, but the main point is that I enjoy being active, eating food, and thought this would be a good way to keep myself accountable. I’ve tried writing blogs that were more like daily nutrition and workout diaries for myself in the past, so I’ve decided to approach this from a different angle. One in which the reader could actually get something out of it. That thought process is where “Thighs, Bi’s, and Tries” was bornwell, actually the idea for the blog was mine, but the title was actually my husband’s doing on accident when he misremembered the name of one our P90X videos. You’re probably wondering to yourself “What the Hell is this about?” Simple! I try things out that are health/fitness related and then document to give honest reviews, photos, etc. You see, in the past, when I would find new workout programs or meal plans, I would try to look for reviews that were not only in depth, but also didn’t look potentially fake. Obviously the more larger programs like Beachbody have many honest looking reviews, but I’m really into YouTube programs at the moment and even some Pinterest stuff which usually don’t get as many reviews and results as I would like to see, so I am using this platform to push myself to try it out, and, hopefully, you can potentially decide if it’s something worth your time. I will also be trying out healthy recipes for dinners, breakfasts, snacks, etc. Possibly throw in health product reviews, fitness apparel, review workout classes at my 24hr Fitness. I’ll blog about races I sign-up for and any hiking adventures to give you a break from actual reviews and possibly inspire a Wanderlust attitude; rest days are important! I am a nerd, I love animals and get to work with them daily as a career, I love science and try to be a strong advocate for it, I am a Nature worshipping hippie who meditates, have an addiction to podcasts, enjoy reading and hoarding books, and love playing my ukulele. I am also very serious about health and wellness and, while I will happily take requests to try out a program, I will not do anything that could be harmful to my health.
